MATTHEW
R. KREINCES, was in born Rochester, New York, and has spent most
of his life living on Long Island. Mr. Kreinces attended the University
of Maryland at College Park (B.S., 1990);and then went on to Brooklyn
Law School (J.D., 1993). He was admitted to the Bar of the State of New
York, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern
Districts of New York in 1994. He was then admitted to the Bar of the
Supreme Court of the United States in 1998.
Mr. Kreinces began his career as a law clerk to a personal injury defense
firm. Upon admission to the New York Bar, Mr. Kreinces became an associate
with one of New York’s pre-eminent personal injury and medical malpractice
law firms. After a number of years as an associate with both plaintiff
and defense firms, Mr. Kreinces opened his own private practice in October,
1998. He built a plaintiff’s oriented personal injury/medical malpractice
office, and diversified into residential real estate, commercial and appellate
litigation. In 2001, Mr. Kreinces merged his practice with his current
partner and father-in-law, Lawrence K. Katz, Esq. This successor firm
has continued in these same areas with its greatest concentration in the
area of personal injury and medical malpractice. We also represent people
who are sued for causing an accident when they do not have any insurance
coverage, as well as defending people in all other types of civil lawsuits.
Mr. Kreinces is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America,
New York State Bar Association (Committee on Civil Practice Law and Rules,
1994- ), New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Brooklyn Bar Association,
Metropolitan Women’s Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association.
